Finally, the money is locked and loaded!
On the 6th April we had a visit from Minister Kristy McBain and Mark Reeves the Mayor of EGSC.
We have had lots of dashed hopes on this journey and so we crossed our fingers and waited...
Until finally they confirmed that the agreement between the EGSC (as Project Manager) and the Federal Government had been signed.
The $3.6 million is actually here! We were very excited!
The process of delivering a new Hall and a awesome playground can now begin.

To this end we have a Business Advisor John Hamilton who will examine ways other community halls function and pay for themselves. Some of you may have talked to him at the Community Dinner on 13 April and he also has the surveys that you have all completed over the past 3 years.
