Vale May Dorothy Haggar

We were all saddened to hear of the passing of May Haggar this week. May passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at BUPA Eastwood on Monday.

May was part of the sixty-six year married partnership with husband Ian and both were stalwarts and enormous contributors to the Sarsfield Community. May was the youngest of the ten Cornwall children from Bruthen and lived the majority of her 91 years as  a true Sarsfield legend.

Our thoughts are with Heather, Peter and Judy, extended family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

May’s funeral is scheduled for Monday the 21st of October from 11am at Stephen Baggs Chapel 613 Main Street Bairnsdale before heading to the Bairnsdale Lawn Cemetery.

RIP May- reunited with Ian.
