Sarsfield Community Association Welcomes New Chairs for the Upcoming Hall
Cherie Draper from the Gippsland Community Foundation presents the Sarsfield Women’s Circle with a cheque for the purchase of new chairs to furnish the new community hall.
The Sarsfield Community Association (SCA) is excited to announce the arrival of a brand-new shipment of chairs that will soon furnish the association’s new community hall. The old plastic chairs and tables, which have served the hall for many years, were in need of replacement, and this upgrade is set to enhance the comfort and functionality of the space for future community events.
Thanks to the generous support of the Gippsland Community Foundation, the SCA successfully secured a community grant to fund the purchase of the new chairs. Currently in storage until the hall's construction is completed, the sleek and stylish chairs will not only improve the experience of those attending events but also help establish the venue as an attractive option for weddings, conferences, and workshops.
“The new chairs will provide a comfortable seating experience for everyone attending our events,” said a representative from the SCA. “We’re excited for the upgrade, which will allow us to better serve our community and promote the hall as a desirable venue for various events.”
The Gippsland Community Foundation has long been a staunch supporter of the SCA, providing much-needed funding for various projects throughout the Reserve. This ongoing support has been instrumental in helping the association achieve its goals and further develop the community space.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Gippsland Community Foundation for their continued generosity. They have been invaluable in helping to improve the Reserve and support initiatives like this one,” added the SCA representative.
With the new chairs set to enhance the newly constructed hall, the SCA is looking forward to hosting a wide range of events that bring the community together and attract visitors to the area. The association remains deeply appreciative of the Foundation’s contributions, which have made such projects possible.
