More sad losses within our community

Earlier this year we mourned the loss of Kevin Perry and Ian Haggar- both long time stalwarts of the Sarsfield Community. Recently we were saddened to hear of the deaths of Julie Coster and ex Sarsfield resident Phil Makings.

Julie was a hands on volunteer in the clean up immediately after the fires .She was an expert horse handler, a great neighbour and a great Sarsfield person..Married to Bruce the Coster name is closely connected to Sarsfield and its past. RIP Julie .

Phil and his wife Vicki raised their two sons in Sarsfield and were involved in local sport and community. Phil was very involved in the Sarsfield Cricket club before it went into recess in 1999 as a committee man and supporter of the juniors. RIP Phil.
