The wait is over - beer enthusiasts, cider lovers, and winemakers alike, rejoice! The Sarsfield Brew Club officially launched yesterday, and it was a fantastic start to what will surely be a vibrant and creative community. The launch was well attended, from craft beer aficionados to those passionate about ginger beer, hard lemonade, and cider, the launch event proved that there’s something for everyone at this exciting new club.
One of the highlights of the launch event was having Craig, an experienced home brewer of over a decade answering all the burning questions about the art of brewing. A self-proclaimed ‘beer nerd’, Craig is passionate about sharing the art of brewing with those who want to learn. Both Craig and Wayne (who was unavailable for the launch) are going to lead the club through our brewing journey; with their combined knowledge and wisdom with brewing, there isn’t much we won’t be able to brew.
Marney, Nathan, Phil and Craig all brought home brews for tasting, and others bought commercial brews they enjoyed. With many different styles and flavour profiles, everyone was keen to taste and discuss – some were very well regarded, some not so much. But a lot of fun, and lively discussion was had!
